Google doc planning with Wisconsin

This  year we are buddies with a class in Wisconsin. They are 11 or 12 years old. We are 8 and  9 years old, well some of the year 3's are 7 years old. Danielle and I are plannng a story called The house on maple street; it was a perfect lift off using Google Docs. Danielle and I have finished with our planning called the house on maple street it was a perfect lift off.
Now we need to start writing our story.

Sugar crystals

Yesterday room 7 made sugar crystals for science to see what it will happen in the sun. First Room 7 got ice block stick and hung string on the ice block stick.Then Mrs. Natusch  put sugar in hot water in the pot and mix and mix until the sugar dissolved. Then we waited for our teacher  to put the water in our plastic cup.Next we put it n the window sill. Last of all  we went home and came back to school. We saw Ashley's sugar crystal was purple because her stick had fallen into the solution. 

The Bright light

once there was a girl called Selena she was 10 years old she herd this light crowded with people and she screamed  vampire band.Selena went on the stage and say hi vampire band.This boy said my name is Cody.

Selena whispered quietly why there is a bright light here.Cody shouted bright light.selena come with me.They ran and ran and ran all the way to the haunted house to see the bright light witch .the light bright witch will tell us about the light came from.knock knock they knock on the door. who is it.oh hi Cody and Selena the light bright witch said nicely. Cody said to the bright light witch can you tell us the story that who made the bright light. The bright light witch told Selena and Cody. one morning when the king woke up and say today the bright light queen and princess is coming. But suddenly the bright light princess did not come because she

had a sleep over at dark night princess kingdom for 8 days.prince normal he was sick so the guards got chicken soup. Prince normal turned into a bright light prince. So that's why there is light said Selena.Cool said Cody. 

Waitomo caves

Waitomo caves

On Wednesday we went to waitomo caves. I felt like I could touch the glow worms.First we had a middle team photo. Next there was a guide that tells us about the cave and glowing worms. When we went on the boat there was a rope so we don't need to paddle to the way out of the cave. Then we went back on the bus and go to the museum. First we had lunch time before we go into the museum.After the museum we went to the bush walk.Last of all we went to school in the bush walk.

Hello my name is Zoe and I am in room 7.  My favorite subject is writing because at home on my Daddy's
computer and I wrote 100 stories. Next year I'm going to be a year 5.At school  I enjoy writing.

Hi my name is Zoe and I’m working with Osheana.

My favourite part was camp and eating a hamburger for dinner at camp. (Zoe)

looks like giant poms poms exploding in the blue dark sky 

smells like smoke going  as pretty as butterfly's 

exploding around the fire works

as sparkly as pixie dust

Story

And I saw a bright light... Once I was going to the shop to get my mum some veges for my mums soup, but suddenly there was a tornado and there was no escape! I yelled "HELP" but nobody heard me, I started to have tears in my eyes and I saw a bright light. Then came a fairy. I said "Who are you?" "I’m your fairy god mother and I’m here to get you away from the evil robber. She’s bad. Do you know why? Because she is a robber. She is called evil Ella and you’re the only one that could stop evil Ella". "Hello evil Ella. Stop this robbing". "But I can’t stop little girl" "Don’t call me a little girl ok." Then I turned into a princess and made the tornado disappear, and then I tranformed back into a girl at the shop. I said that was a great adventure. I went and told mum all about it. The End

Kapa haka

Kapa haka Geuss what? In kapa haka we pratice on the stage. In September we are going to show our kapa haka dance to the hole school. Do you know what? When we do kapa haka on thursdays sometimes Matua Shaun's baby comes and watch.
