Athletics 2014

I feel nervous and scared about tomorrow, because im doing running, throwing, long jump and high jump.
I really love to  achieve my jumping and running because when I run I slow down and for my jumping I sometimes don't land on my feet and I fall down.
My favorite  event is high jump because I love jumping over the bar just for fun. 

My long weekend

In my long weekend i went to my friend chloes house and had two sleepovers, my favoroute part about it is holding the kittens.

This is my healthy pyramid, what's healthy or nots what healthy. You need to eat candy least because it's bad for you. 

Coraline

Manaia, Adelei, Tegan, poppy, Hayley and me, Zoe, we read the Coraline book. There were about ten or 15 chapters in the book. My favourite part in the Coraline book was the ending because it was an awsome ending. I wonder what is your favourite part in the book or the movie ?   

Deep pool at water world

When it was Friday, Graces group went in the deep pool. It felt really deep,  i thought i was going to sink to the ground. I was doggy paddling,  to the end I thought I was a dog doing the dog paddling.I saw Nicholas having so much fun. When i tuck my legs off the ground i sink and couldn't breath, then i jumped out of the water and then i said i can't see.I whipped my eyes quickly so i can see.I needed to jump up and down. My toes can only touch the ground.

Plane

On Thursday I used paint to make a plane. The picture show you lift, gravity, thrust and  drag. Thrust  makes the plane forward. Drag makes the plane backwards. lift makes the plane goes up. Gravity makes the plane land.

Maths

In the area of my z is 21 cm Squared.O is 26 cm squared.E is 26 cm squared.

Me and Jade, Manaia and Adelei. Was making a story named there's a monster under my bed! Our story is long so you can read then comment what was your favourite part.

Zooming further and twirling.  Landing on the front point.  Gliding like a leaf on the river.  Spinning like a ballet dancer.  Upside down like a bat.   Looks like black with gold spots.

This is my maskarade mask,  I enjoyed decorating my mask and we were pretending  that we were going to a party.  I used stuff like this

My mask reflection

We first made masks to represent ourselves.
I enjoyed paper macheing with news paper and news print.
I added glitter on my mask because glitter makes things sparkle like pixy dust.
What I found difficult was cutting the balloon.
Next time I will  use more things on my mask that show what I am about.

Google doc planning with Wisconsin

This  year we are buddies with a class in Wisconsin. They are 11 or 12 years old. We are 8 and  9 years old, well some of the year 3's are 7 years old. Danielle and I are plannng a story called The house on maple street; it was a perfect lift off using Google Docs. Danielle and I have finished with our planning called the house on maple street it was a perfect lift off.
Now we need to start writing our story.

Sugar crystals

Yesterday room 7 made sugar crystals for science to see what it will happen in the sun. First Room 7 got ice block stick and hung string on the ice block stick.Then Mrs. Natusch  put sugar in hot water in the pot and mix and mix until the sugar dissolved. Then we waited for our teacher  to put the water in our plastic cup.Next we put it n the window sill. Last of all  we went home and came back to school. We saw Ashley's sugar crystal was purple because her stick had fallen into the solution. 

The Bright light

once there was a girl called Selena she was 10 years old she herd this light crowded with people and she screamed  vampire band.Selena went on the stage and say hi vampire band.This boy said my name is Cody.

Selena whispered quietly why there is a bright light here.Cody shouted bright light.selena come with me.They ran and ran and ran all the way to the haunted house to see the bright light witch .the light bright witch will tell us about the light came from.knock knock they knock on the door. who is it.oh hi Cody and Selena the light bright witch said nicely. Cody said to the bright light witch can you tell us the story that who made the bright light. The bright light witch told Selena and Cody. one morning when the king woke up and say today the bright light queen and princess is coming. But suddenly the bright light princess did not come because she

had a sleep over at dark night princess kingdom for 8 days.prince normal he was sick so the guards got chicken soup. Prince normal turned into a bright light prince. So that's why there is light said Selena.Cool said Cody. 

Waitomo caves

Waitomo caves

On Wednesday we went to waitomo caves. I felt like I could touch the glow worms.First we had a middle team photo. Next there was a guide that tells us about the cave and glowing worms. When we went on the boat there was a rope so we don't need to paddle to the way out of the cave. Then we went back on the bus and go to the museum. First we had lunch time before we go into the museum.After the museum we went to the bush walk.Last of all we went to school in the bush walk.
